Jan Philippe “JP” V. Carpio (born October 17, 1978, Makati, Philippines) is a Filipino performer, writer and filmmaker whose works often blur the lines between fiction and documentary. His films explore performance in art and life, intimacy, emotional tension, emotional violence, and the politics of emotions. His films have been screened and at national and international film festivals. He teaches at the Digital Filmmaking program of the College of St. Benilde School of Design and Arts, and the film program of MINT College.
