The artist and animator Martin Búřil (1980) joined the Department of Animation at FAMU in Prague after graduating from FaVU in Brno. He not only directs animated films, but also gives lectures on them and organizes animation workshops. He creates multimedia projects, collaborates with Prague's alternative theatre scene, and creates artistic installations; the likes of which include participating in the spatial installation Opičí král (Monkey King), which was presented in the Czech pavilion at the 2010 EXPO in Shanghai.
