Daniella Marxer was born in 1966 in Austria. She studied German language and Theatre Theory first at University of Wien and then at Université de Paris IV, Sorbonne. She later became interested in film and started her film studies at Université de Paris III, Sorbonne Nouvelle. She lives and works both in Paris and Wien.
