William Henne was born in 1969 in Brussels. He is one of the driving forces behind the publishing house La Cinquième Couche since 1998. He is also active as a film maker and co-founder of the animation studios Zorobabel. As a comics artist, he has published in Comix 2000, Frigobox 10, Le Matin and Quardrado. In 1994, he self-published 'L'Épuisement', and from 2001 he was present in the collection Extracteur of La 5e Couche with 'La Poursuite'. In 2001, he also illustrated 'La Dispirarition de Perek', the 8th album in the series 'La Poulpe'.
