Renata Sancho was born in Lisbon, April 1973. She finished a degree in Media Studies, specialised on Cinema Studies, at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She participaped in the creation and development of the Laboratório de Criação Cinematográfica part of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has been working in continuity and editing with the directors: João Mário Grilo, Manoel de Oliveira and João César Monteiro.
