Slovak film director and screenwriter. In 1969 she graduated from Film and TV Dramaturgy from the Drama Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. In 1973 she made her first short documentary entitled An Invitation to a Royal Shooting and in 1982 she debuted with the feature film for children Drawings. In the 1980s, she focused on documentary film production – Theatre (1980), An Unusual Fairy-Tale (1982), The Bricklayer from Pribylina (1983), The Bridge in the Air (1984), Those Who Build Castles in the Air (1986), They Sang at Pavarotti’s (1989) and more. Her two feature documentaries won major national film awards: Part-time Job: Mother (1990) a And Everybody Together... (in Slovak) (1991). In 1991 she founded the Galaxy art agency, which provides casting for film productions and advertising agencies.
