Sami Belhaj (Tunisia)

As a director, Sami Belhaj, born in 1992, has already produced feature, experimental and documentary films (Je suis sourd, Du sang sous les ailes de pigeons, Touness ya touness). He has also written a number of screenplays, for example Spirit and Le Couloir. The most fascinating part of cultural management for him is organization, or “behind the scenes of culture.” Sami Belhaj wants to use the course to acquire knowledge and skills to be able to better conduct and manage future projects. He plans to establish a cultural association on the Kerkennah Islands that would invigorate the cultural scene of the region with clubs and encounters and also offer training programmes for socially disadvantaged youth.
