The opera L’Olimpiade, with music by Czech composer Josef Mysliveček, was performed only once, at its premiere. Conductor Václav Luks rediscovered it in the archives 235 years later, and decided to stage a new production. For the conductor, the interpretation of this musical work is key to understanding the personality of the famous composer and his time.
