FILM WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM OCTOBER 23
The Embassy has an air of authentic documentary, abouttwenty-minute amateur picture recorded with a Super-8camera at the embassy where several refugees seek shelter. They were expelled from an unknown country aer analleged coup d‘état. The film contains the arrival of the refuge-seekers, their long debates, housework, news from
the world outside, arguments and finally their departure.
Reflecting the tension and growing isolation of its protagonists,
the picture uses a wide range of technical means
which appeared in a family movie in the early 1970’s.
