A film about today’s relationship between humans and technology.

A troubled film director, Mikkel, pursues happiness in the virtual world Second Life. He meets the beautiful avatar, Helena, who helps him getting a career in-world and they fall in love. The success goes to his head, though, and Helena disappears. While looking for her, he’s apparently contacted by “light beings” who promise him he will be reunited with his lost love if he goes on a journey to a mountain in Nevada. Somebody is planning to build a mechanical clock there which can last for 10.000 years. But is Mikkel able to keep track of his “real life”, what are the connections between all this and who is Helena really?
